On Sunday we decided to ring the changes! – with a slightly modified ‘Party Set’ in three parts: a bluesy first set, a hectic rock ‘n’ roll set with a crazy ‘circus’ intro (hence the moustache!) & finishing off with a fine set of classic after classic rock numbers. The crowd reaction was great throughout – the “other local legend” Henry Harvey (apart from Pipes that is) joined us in a couple of numbers in the middle set – and in the final set the crowd danced, cheered and partied like their lives depended on it!

Heidi and the girls behind the bar were all dressed in special costumes for both gigs and danced incessantly – fantastic! The gig finished with an eyeball bursting ‘Gimme Some Lovin’ with a new (and rehearsed!) dramatic ending – the crowd roared for more – but they’ll have to wait for next year! So, many, many thanks to Heidi and all the staff, the audience & especially our number one fan – Martin Baker (above on keys!) - still a 100% gig attendance in Hastings - and to Sharon & Neil at the brilliant ‘Cornish Taste’ B & B.
