The First Gig

Early Saturday (well - before noon anyway!) Skins & Liz went in to Town – to the music shop of course – where Skins bought some ‘electric blue and gold’ sticks to match his forthcoming shy & retiring performances on the tour.Whilst there he bought appropriate little presents for the band – stress balls for Prof & the Teacher, a false ‘circus’ moustache for the Preacher and a toy tambourine for Pipes!

So, the tension built as the band gathered to play the Saturday gig at their fav venue – The Royal Standard – who had booked us to play on both Saturday Night & Sunday afternoon. We played our usual storming ‘Rock’ set and quickly had the crowd dancing & cheering.
